It’s time to vote in EU soon. Sadly the voter turnout is usually low, 43 % in the last election. Swedes are a little better at voting than the average European, around 50%, but it’s far from the 85 % turnout in the national election (2010).
I want to encourage all my European friends to vote, and let’s vote to stop the wave of right wing politics! I know I’ll be voting for Feministiskt initiativ because I believe we’re more than overdue for some feminist and anti racist politics.
If you’re a Swede having a hard time to find a party to vote for, I suggest taking one of many online quizzes to help you decide. I took this one and found out I was right in my conviction that F! is the party for me (although I was surprised that MP was such a close second) .
